Guidelines for Submissions

Please look at the sites on our Links page and make yourself familiar with the MDGs and what the United Nations and other groups are doing to support and track them. The primary goal of this MDG site is to create an awareness of the 8 Millennium Development Goals. You may portray the goals individually or as a group, depending upon the size of your widget.

Here are some basic guidelines to follow:

• Stick to the message. Promote the 8 goals. [ See our Guiding Principles ]
• Make your message readable.
• Keep it simple.
• Use public domain images, if the images are not yours.
• Use our standard sizes [ See Specifications and Templates ]
• Create a variety of sizes.

How to Submit Your Designs

Note: All submissions will be reviewed for visual content and message. Please follow our guidelines to insure your submissions are appropriate.

Whenever possible, use our templates to create your images. After you have created your widget images, use the Contact Form to let us know the following:

• Sizes and numbers of images
• Your name and contact information

We will contact you by email to tell you how to deliver the images to us.

After You Have Submitted

Your submitted images will be reviewed. After passing the review process, the images will be processed into our database and published as soon as possible, after you have given us permission to publish your widgets. You will be credited as the “Creator” of the widget.
